Este sitio web contiene las ediciones finales de COUNTRY EUROPA, un trabajo de Marcelo Expósito y Verónica Iglesia. Incorpora —entre otros materiales— las imágenes producidas durante el taller de fotografía realizado con personas internas en el Centro Penitenciario de Murcia (2010). Se trata por tanto de una obra colaborativa. Su forma final consiste en dos publicaciones (un libro completo y su versión abreviada en un cuadernillo) que se pueden leer y descargar gratuitamente desde este web.

COUNTRY EUROPA es un proyecto para Manifesta 8 Bienal Europea de Arte Contemporáneo —en la sección ¿El resto es Historia?, bajo la curaduría del grupo Chamber of Public Secrets (CPS)— y forma parte asimismo del proyecto de investigación colectivo creating worlds —dirigido por el european institute for progressive cultural policies (eipcp)—.

This website contains the final editings of COUNTRY EUROPA, a work by Verónica Iglesia and Marcelo Expósito. Among other materials, it includes the images produced during the photography workshop carried out with male and female inmates of the Murcia Penitentiary Centre (2010). As such, it is a collaborative work. Its final form consists of two publications (a full book and its abridged version in booklet format), which can be downloaded free from this site.

COUNTRY EUROPA is a project for Manifesta 8 European Biennial of Contemporary Art — within the section The Rest is History?, produced under the curatorship of the Chamber of Public Secrets (CPS) — and is also part of the collective research project creating worlds — carried out by the european institute for progressive cultural policies (eipcp).
